Jamon Serrano Bocadillo (Spanish Ham & Cheese Sandwich)

2 thin slices Jamon Serrano or prosciutto

2 thin slices Majon cheese (mah – hone)

1 tsp aioli (garlic mayonnaise)

3 to 4 leaves basil

1 heavy pinch marinated peppers

1 sandwich roll or bread of choice

Cover the bread with the mayo and then the peppers, followed by the ham and last the cheese.

Melt in an oven or in the style of a grilled cheese sandwich by heating a buttered pan and frying both sides.
